The Kindness of Strangers
|
It completely amazes me how the kindness of strangers can be so transforming for a person. A small gesture to someone you hardly know could possibly change their life. It can inspire and it can motivate.
How a stranger could possibly make me feel so much more hope than I have had in such a long time is beyond me. I feel it though... hope, determination, and perseverance.
A simple 'chat' was intended. For me, it was so much more than that. It was an open doorway into a future full of posibilities. It was a glimpse of happiness. It was a lifeline that was so desperately needed.
It's true. "You can always depend on the kindness of strangers!" |
